Narmadeshwar Shivlinga – As the name suggests is found in the sacred Narmada river and is also called ‘Banaling’. It is believed to be a manifestation of Lord Shiva and it helps the devotee in connecting with Lord Shiva. It is also believed that where there is Narmadeshwar Shivlinga, Lord Shiva himself resides there. Narmadeshwar Shivlinga do have mysterious super powers in it that induces focus and concentration of the mind and helps in focusing on goals. The formation of this Shivlinga is very unique in its own right. It is believed that the waves of the Narmada River hits the stones in the river and thus this Linga forms its oval shape. However this process takes thousands of years together and that is why it is considered to be so auspicious.
