About Vastu

Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian science of architecture and construction that finds its origins in India almost 7000 years back. Some ancient pieces of literature proclaim that Viswa Karma created the traditional Construction System “Vastu Shastra” hence referred to as God’s Chief Architect for Living Structures. Vastu Shastra is based on the concept of energy flow and balance, and it is believed that by following its principles, one can create a more positive and auspicious environment. One of the primary principles of Vastu Shastra is the concept of the five elements – earth, water, fire, air, and space. It is believed that these elements are present in every living and non-living entity, and by balancing them, one can create a harmonious living space. Vastu Vidya is to establish harmony between the elements of nature and building orientation. Through careful calculations that account for gravitational force, magnetic fields, and the design of the building, traditional Indian Architectural science seeks to create living, working, and commercial spaces that foster well-being, peace, and prosperity.

Vastu Compliant Home

A step towards Prosperity & Peace of Mind!

A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body. -Benjamin Franklin

Vastu Shastra for home is a collective approach, right from the entrance of a house to the bedroom, place of worship, kitchen, bathroom, and outdoors. Considered the “archway to victory and progress in life”, the main door should face north, east, or in the north-east direction. Vastu Shastra is based on the principle that each direction is governed by a specific God, and each deity has a unique purpose. For instance, the North-East direction is considered the most favorable for constructing a temple or place of worship since it is believed to be governed by numerous Gods. Similarly, the South-West is ideal for setting up a kitchen as it is under the rule of Lord Agni, the God of fire.
